  5. I  am  writing  his  article  in  order to try to urge as many people as
  6. possible  to  get  themselves  a donor card.  It can save lives, as many
  7. different  parts  of  your  body,  upon  your  death,  can  be  used for
  8. transplant purposes.
  9.  
  10. I  suppose  it would lend this article some additional weight if I could
  11. tell  you  that  I  knew someone who needs/did need a transplant of some
  12. kind, but I don`t, and I won`t lie to you just for the sake of it.  But,
  13. imagine that your wife or girlfriend was unfortunate enough to require a
  14. transplant for some reason, if they were being put through terrible pain
  15. or  if their life was at stake.  You would begin to wish that a few more
  16. people  could  be bothered to fill in that small piece of card, and make
  17. sure someone knows about it.

  19. All  I am asking is that you think about it, and if you decide you would
  20. like to help others to live after your death, to take just a little time
  21. to  get  a donor card, fill it in, and make sure your family and friends
  22. know you carry one.

  24. Not  many  of  us  get  the  chance to save someone`s life through brave
  25. deeds,  this  way  we  at  least get to save someone`s life through good
  26. intentions.
